Central Australia Health Service – Mental Health

Mental Health (CAHS) delivers public mental health services through a number of interdependent specialist multi-disciplinary mental health teams based in Alice Springs and Tennant Creek.
Services are provided by a series of specialised teams that include a Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic, a 12 bed Acute Mental Health Unit, the Community Mental Health Team, involving both Case Management and Crises Assessment and Triage, the Child and Youth Mental Health Team, the Mark Sheldon Remote Mental Health Team, providing outreach services to Remote clinics, the Barkly Mental Health Team, the Forensic Mental Health Team and a Sub-Acute Unit.
