Dr. Gabrielle Matta is an advanced trainee in psychiatry. She is the current Neuroimaging Fellow in the Neuropsychiatry Service at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. She completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales in 2010. She began her psychiatry training at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney before moving to Melbourne and completing her basic psychiatry training at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne. She is an active member of the Victorian Association of Psychiatry Trainees (VAPT) and served as its President for 2015. She has interests in research and medical education and will complete her psychiatry training in 2017. She plans to gain experience in and work in a regional area of Australia.
