Dr Sameer Kaul – Respiratory and Sleep Physician

Dr Sameer Kaul is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians specialising in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine. He started his basic physician training at Frankston Hospital, which he completed at The Alfred hospital in Melbourne with work in the Pulmonary Hypertension, Cystic Fibrosis,  Non-invasive ventilation and Lung Transplant units. He also completed a Masters in Public Health from Monash University in 2017.

He is currently on staff in Peninsula Health for over 9 years as a General, Respiratory and Sleep Physician. He also is the Director of Physician Training at Peninsula Health and Co-Director of training for the Alfred-Peninsula consortium.

His interests include all facets of Respiratory and Sleep medicine with special interests in airway disease and physiology, lung cancer diagnostics and sleep-related ventilator disorders.

He currently consults at the Wattletree Consulting Suites in Frankston, Frankston Private and also in McRae. He is also on staff at Peninsula Private, Frankston Private and Beleura and Bays Hospitals.

He specialises in procedures such as Bronchoscopy and Endobronchial Ultrasound.

Sleep testing is provided for both inpatient and home-based sleep studies as required.

Lung function testing, including Spirometry, gas transfer testing, bronchial provocation tests, and neuromuscular testing, is provided on-site at the Wattletree Consulting suites and Frankston Private for ease and convenience of patients. In addition, this testing facility is open to all outside providers, including General Practitioners.
